Are there performance opportunities throughout the year?
There are two group recitals per year, typically in December and May. All students are expected to participate. There are also opportunities to perform during worship at First Presbyterian and other events around the church.
What if I need to miss a lesson?
Students must give the teacher 24-hour advance notice if a lesson must be missed. If the student is ill, please call as early in the day as possible. If 24-hour notice is not given, the lesson will not be made up and no refund will be offered.
What should I bring to my lesson?
Students must bring their own instrument, (with the exception of piano) music books, assignment book, and a pencil to every lesson.
Books may be ordered through the office. Your teacher will help decide books needed and our office will order and bill for any supplies.
